Senior Project Manager - Equity Derivatives / Java

A Global Investment Bank seeks a Senior Project Manager with solid technical, managerial and financial experience to play a leading part in global projects of this highly successful trading group.
You will be responsible for managing and delivering large scale software projects through the full SDLC in a global trading environment from planning to rollout; working with key business stakeholders to define and drive technology strategy; coordinating development, test and support teams and business analysts; managing project dependencies, risks and resources across different development teams and geographical regions; define and cultivate standards and procedures for global teams; hiring and developing project team members and other duties in the context of this senior global role.
The successful candidate will have experience in managing large scale front office equity derivatives trading projects; significant experience in management of software development projects, including staff and budget management; solid knowledge of structured and agile PM methodologies and PM tools; previous experience of managing offshore teams; demonstrable experience of building and leading a technology team, resolving conflicts and managing change; proven success in influencing business direction. Strong technical background with experience in J2EE, C#, VB.NET, Sybase and UNIX is also required for this role.
