Senior Project Manager

My client, who are based in Cambridgeshire require the services of a Senior Project Manager.

They specialise in innovative robotic systems and complex services supplying automated solutions to the live science industries.


My client has identified the need to recruit an experienced Senior Project Manager to professionally execute TAP projects meeting budget, schedule and quality targets.

Projects will range from £1M to £12M and the role is to primarily lead the projects through all stages of project establishment, planning, implementation, control and completion – meeting budget, schedule and quality requirements:

•To act in a pre-sales role and to provide project management input to the proposal and estimating process, ensure that the budget, schedule and quality requirement are realistically addressed
•To carefully define the project including scope and project strategy.
•To determine and manage the resource allocation for the project
•To manage project meetings
•To travel to client sites (world wide) as required to execute the project.
•To keep up-to-date with tools and techniques appropriate to the job.

My Client is looking for a dynamic leader who essentially has a technical/engineering background or experience. The ideal person must be customer focused, confident, self motivated ambitious and able to work under pressure.

They must have the following qualifications:
•Minimum BSc (Hons) 2:1 in a numerate/engineering discipline or a qualification in Project Management with a proven record in the automation/software fields.

Desirable skills should be:
•Automation experience
•Software engineering
•Used Prince2 or GAMP4 project methodologies
•GMP (Good manufacturing Practice)
