Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager. Our client is a large IT services company, they work on a consultative (project by project) basis with large corporate customers. Their projects can cover all aspects of technology however for this role they are looking for a candidate with experience of end-to-end management of infrastructure projects. Candidates with experience of working in the WINTEL space are of particular interest. Candidates must have worked along side technical architects during the bid, scoping, design and implementation phases of a diverse range of infrastructure projects. Experience of delivery Microsoft centric infrastructure solutions is essential; that will probably include desktop and server operating systems migrations and upgrades, Exchange messaging systems upgrades, storage, networks etc. Candidates with data centre migrations and consolidation experience would be of real interest.
It is essential that candidates have client (external customer) facing experience and know how to balance the demands of an exacting customer requirement and a tight budget so as they ensure a profitable commercial outcome and total customer satisfaction. Candidates must have demonstrable project estimation, bid management and project financial management experience on large scale fixed price deals (several £M of services revenue).
