Senior Quality Management Leader

Our client is a leading global engineering, construction & facilities management services company supporting the energy, petrochemicals, government services & civil infrastructure sectors.

With ‘Centres of excellence’ in Engineering, Procurement, Construction, Consulting, Health & Safety & the Environment, Logistics Management, Programme management, Project management & Project Development our client offers the full solution to its customers. It has a record of world class and award winning delivery.

They have recently opened an office up in Lagos, Nigeria & are currently looking for a Senior Quality Management Leader who wishes to work in Nigeria. Our client will be offering assignments from the UK for periods of up to 3 years.

The Role:

As a Senior Quality Management Leader you will be responsible for:

• The planning, management and coordination of all activities associated with the
construction, installation and commissioning of oil and gas facilities for the Company’s
work program, reporting to the project manager.
• Active liaison between various groups in the project, including engineering, construction
and installation contractors, operations local communities.


• Embrace and apply Company’s Capital Stewardship, Operational Excellence and
CPDEP processes and tools
• Responsible for development, implementation and ensuring adherence to Corporate and
Project environmental and safety management programs.

Knowledge and Skills:

You should be an accomplished Quality professional with your experience being supported by some professional qualification in Quality Management. A degree in Engineering is highly desirable.

You should have experience in Quality Management, design and construction of onshore and offshore oil and gas production facilities.

You should also have experience in oil field, petrochemical, or oil and gas handling projects and a working knowledge of oil and gas quality practices and international codes (ISO9001).

Your experience should have included working on at least 3 projects of at least $15 M total construction contract value.

You will be resourceful with a flexible outlook, have the ability to multi-task in order to handle competing priorities and be able to fit in to an international dynamic and multi-cultural environment.

Finally you should possess a Drivers Licence and be proficient in Microsoft Office.

Contracts will be awarded up to a maximum of 3 years duration. Salaries will be negotiable depending upon the successful candidate’s experience and skill set. An Ex-Pats package will be available and it is envisaged that the leave rota will be 8 weeks on and 2 weeks off.
