Senior Transition Manager

My client is looking for and experience Senior Transition manager to support businesses through crafting transition and transformation plans as part of the proposals and project managing within a Business Processing Outsourcing Company. The key focuses of the role is to co-ordinate and facilitate the transfer of service ownership from the provider to the Service Delivery team within a matrix organisation within cross-functional teams. Ensuring clients defined requirements are met by the transition project, and will lead a team of resources assigned to the project as well as managing relations with the customer. Taking responsibility and accountability for delivering all elements of the transition to timescale, quality and budget.

The role holder is focused on:
• To lead transition project team to co-ordinate and facilitate the transfer of service ownership form the existing service provider to the operational service delivery team
• Achieving productivity improvements through best practice methodologies and resource management
• Developing strong relationships and teams
• Maintaining close contact to ensure delivery to schedule, any issues addressed, service implementation meets SLA and high customer satisfaction, quality maintained, to timescale and budget.
• Develop transition communication plan to ensure consistent understanding of transition progress.
• Managing risk during service transition

Depending on project scale and complexity may lead several transition projects simultaneously.

The right candidate must possess:
• Must have proven experience in designing and leading a transition management position within a BPO provider
• Managing and implementing a transformation plan within a matrix organisation within cross-functional teams
• Delivering a transition program for a technology based outsourced business
• Professional qualification (e.g. PMI, PRINCE and ITIL)
• Change management experience
