Core responsibilities of the role will include:
- Contribute to the growth and profitability of the firm’s activities in the Pacific region
- Identify and develop a substantial rapport with current and prospective clients
- Ensure that all reasonable requests made by clients are answered in a timely, efficient and discreet manner
- Demonstrate good working knowledge of a broad range of issues related to sophisticated financial planning
- Develop a close professional relationship with lawyers and accountants throughout the Pacific region
- The bank’s trust and investment management services complement these professionals’ advice by providing a practical means of implementation for the client
- Establish a collegial relationship with these professional relationships with the clients
- The incumbent must be conversant with tax, trust and investment issues and able to demonstrate that expertise to the clients and their advisers in a manner that instills confidence
-To act as the central focus for the acquisition and servicing of trust clients in the Pacific Region:
-Conducting marketing activities on behalf of the firm,
-Providing asset management and estate planning advice and promoting the services of the firm
-Acting as liaison for the group in respect of all matters pertaining to the trusts, companies, agencies and underlying investments administered by the firm
-Execution of documentation for the establishment of companies in various jurisdictions under specific powers of attorney
-Acting under proxies issues by the firm in respect of companies whose shares are owned partially or wholly by the firm
-The working language of the office is English, but fluency in Mandarin and Cantonese is highly desirable
-Required to travel regularly throughout the Pacific Region
