C# .Net 3.5 (especially LINQ, RX), WPF/Silverlight + Prism, Agile, FX - A major European Investment Bank with a global reach is seeking to grow its FX business within an aggressive timespan with substantial investment in trading systems.
The successful candidate will be joining a highly successful global technology team responsible for supporting and driving the growth of all the global FX business. This includes the full set of diverse products that make up the FX business including Spot, Forwards, NDF's and Vanilla and Exotic Options initially and other asset classes (MM, Rates, Credit, Equity) afterwards.
The team is engaged in a major software development project to create a scalable e-commerce trading platform to lead the bank into the next decade. The project will look at
• Utilising fully integrated state-of-the-art Silverlight technology
• Building out an FX platform capable of handling low latency, high throughput eCommerce requirements.
• Creating a single Risk Framework to handle all FX products and hedging instruments, including real-time risk for the flow business.
Role:
Outstanding Agile Silverlight / .Net developer with knowledge of eCommerce Trading systems. This role would involve strong real time development and object oriented skills and a proven ability to turn high level specification into high quality solutions in tight deadlines. Exceptional quality is a given expectation.
• Analysis, requirements gathering and design
• Development (Pair programming, TDD)
• Testing (Unit and Agile QA testing)
Skills & Experience:
Advanced .Net 3.5 (especially LINQ, RX)
WPF/Silverlight + Prism
Exposure to message-oriented middleware
Threading
Agile development practices
Knowledge Required:
FX Options products - Vanilla, Exotic
FX Cash products - Spot, Outrights, Swaps, NDFs
Vanilla Interest Rate Products - IR Futures, IR Swaps, Bonds
