Fast Paced Leadership Role

Our Client is a substantial independent 3PL within the non food retail sector. With steady and realistic growth in a difficult market, they attribute their continuing success to a robust product offering, breadth of services and a strong focus on customer relations. They have an enviable portfolio of customers both in the UK and the wider European regions and see continuing growth both organically and by acquisition.

Reporting to a Divisional Director, the job holder will have a dual remit – in that he/she will run the operational centres of excellence whilst maintaining the excellent customer relationships, looking for further value added solutions. He/she will monitor SLAs and ensure adherence to challenging KPIs across warehousing and transport. This is a role which demands overt leadership, team building and operational excellence through a commitment to continuous improvement methodology.

Of graduate calibre, your senior operational experience will have been gained in substantial warehousing management within the fmcg or retail environments. You will be an inspirational leader with proven team building, ER and customer relations skills. In addition to obvious numeracy and literacy, you will have the ability to source additional wins with existing and new key account customers. A commercial bias will be essential, as will the incumbents ability to progress within the Company.
