Senior Security Information Consultant - Arcsight, SIEM

Given the sensitive nature of our client (Finance), the team of SIEM Consultants play an important role in increasing resourcing challenges of our clients business as a whole. We require candidates that can join this existing team and as well as demonstrating a strong track record of working in a similar role.

The Senior Security Information Consultant - Arcsight, SIEM will be responsible for:

- Designing and maintaining to a high level and providing quality service
- Support and manage the infrastructure and tools.
- Acting as a technical architect / SIEM lead technical contact
- Working on designing and delivering appropriate technical solutions
- Driving technical improvement of the SIEM Arcsight managed service
- Engaging with other operational centers, assisting technically where appropriate
- Providing training, mentoring and advice on the managed infrastructure and technology to other teams
- Acting as a Technical escalation point for the delivery teams within the organisation

The Senior Security Information Consultant - Arcsight, SIEM requires the following skills and experience:

- a minimum of 7 years professional experience coupled with expert knowledge of Arcsight SIEM installation, configuration, troubleshooting and design
- has strong sufficient depth and breadth of technical knowledge - designing and scoping multiple deliverables across a number of technologies.
- experience in handling multiple deliverables across many technologies
- possess an understanding of architectural dependencies of technologies in use in the customer's Information Technology environment.
- be a recognised expert in one or more technologies at own and regional levels - ideally certificated
- possess excellent communication and presentation skills - able to articulate in laymen terms whilst liaising at technical level - both internally and externally
- Arcsight experience complete with certifications

Commercially astute candidates with predominently UK based experience are required.
