This UK software product vendor has achieved great sales success and their products have achieved critical acclaim. The company has big ambitions to grow rapidly, expand overseas and become a leader in what is a very new market.
A key to them achieving their ambitions is to hire a very strong project manager who can ensure high quality output from the engineering and development group and implement new processes and techniques to improve the efficiencies of the team.
Responsibilities:
The role will be to project manage a variety of product development initiatives using both company staff and off-shore resources ensuring delivery to time, quality and budget.
You will be directly responsible for managing a small team of talented software engineers and liaise with senior directors of the business translating product road-maps into market ready products.
Skills and Experience:
You will have proven experience of project managing complex software product developments under pinned by a solid understanding of the underlying software technology. Knowledge of JAVA would be very beneficial.
You will have the organisational skills to manage multiple activities in parallel and the leadership qualities to get the best possible productivity out of the team. A previous background as a software engineer will be a benefit as there will be a requirement to understand and contribute at a detailed level.
You will have ideally gained your experience within the analytics, SaaS, CRM or E-Commerce area’s and be familiar with Web 2.0 and related environments. Additional experience gained in early stage companies would be an advantage.
You must be a UK / EU National or already be resident in the UK and have a current Work Permit.
