Sourcing Category Manager - HR & FM

My client is an international financial services organisation with a diverse range of products. They provide a wide range of financial services from bank accounts to life and pension products. Currently, they are looking to recruit a Senior Manager to lead the sourcing of Human Resources and Facilities Management.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop category strategies for HR and Facilities Management Services that will enable the procurement of relevant category suppliers / services for the organisation in the UK. Also ensuring security and flexibility of supply, appropriate SLAs and the introduction of innovations, complexity reduction and lowest total cost.
Managing the business's relationships with vendors and acting as a key driver in competitiveness and risk reduction, researching and analysing markets as required.
Responsible for strategic negotiations for HR and Facilities Management and potentially other spend areas. Role is to negotiate pricing and contractual terms and conditions with existing and prospective vendors, using influencing skills and experience of successful negotiations.
To give contractual advice and assistance of a high professional standard to project and business sponsors in procurement/contractual matters with particular regard to negotiating supplier contracts.
