Strategic Bid Manager
Uxbridge - London
Our client is looking for a Strategic Bid Manager who is responsible for capturing and closing qualified mega-deal opportunities. Working in close collaboration with senior sales and delivery team leads, internal and external partners, finance, legal and other support functions, the Strategic Bid Manager will orchestrate and enable mega-deal wins in both competitive and non-competitive proposal situations, and lead deal virtual teams through deal closure and handover to the implementation and delivery team
The Strategic Bid Manager is accountable for comprehensive, end-to-end bid management for all services proposals and selected large equipment focused proposals, which may include large North American, European or DMO deals.
The main purpose of the role will:
• Accelerate business growth through best-in-class management and capture of profitable large complex mega-deal opportunities across lines of business (XGS, PSG, Office) for DMO.
• Ensuring an appropriately tailored value proposition and compelling win strategy on each deal meets true customer needs and differentiates our client from their competitors leading to significantly increased win rates.
• Engaging internal and external business partners as needed and facilitating Senior Management tollgate reviews on each mega-deal to ensure timely and effective proposal development and opportunity capture.
• Ensuring adherence to company DMO Bid Management Pursuit Process including robust economic assessment and risk management on each deal.
