Based: London
The Strategy and Service Development Director will lead the strategic planning process, translating the output into deliverable actions and integrating these in the Annual Business and Corporate plans. Working in concert with other areas of the organisation, the Strategy and Service Development Director will also create and implement a Service Development Plan and develop / deliver innovative service packages tailored to precisely meet customer needs. The Strategy and Service Development Director will also oversee budgeting, financial management and reporting for the business together with all procurement.
Our client is a government backed organisation, providing business information, advice and support to thousands of SMEs at all stages of maturity and development.
The Strategy and Service Development Director will be able to demonstrate extensive experience in a business support or knowledge transfer industry and a good understanding of the execution of strategic business plans. The role demands an excellent understanding of the business issues currently facing London’s SMEs together with good experience of formulating business strategies and managing performance against them, including the end to end business planning process and cycle.
The Strategy and Service Development Director will be a self starter and a natural leader with a passion for customer service, excellent communications skills and the ability to build solid relationships with customers (both internal and external), partners and other stakeholders at all levels.
