Supply Chain Development Manager

The role
Reporting to the Director - International Supply Chain, to manage operation and development of international accounts and deliver end-to-end supply chain service and operational excellence
Key Responsibilities include
- Identify and implement new business streams
- Identify opportunities for organic growth
- Manage all tender requests and RFQ
- Preparation of quotations
- Manage the full sales process from lead generation to negotiation and close
- Regular service review meetings with clients
- Key Account Management and delivery of agreed service levels
- Contract and commercial negotiations
- Develop and implement robust customer supply chains
- Be the business stakeholder for customer development work
- Maintain strong relationships with key decision makers
The Candidate
- Operational experience in supply chain & logistics
- Supply chain professional with proven sales and account management
- Can demonstrate commercial achievements with blue chip customers
- Knowledge of customers trends and needs within the global supply chains
- Experience of supply chain modelling
- International logistics knowledge and experience
- Proven track record in end to end retail Supply Chain logistics is essential
- Experience of account development in intricate logistics environments is essential
- Strong presentation and customer management skills
- Project management and implementation
- Commercial acumen, with good client management skills
- Experience of handling complex multi-product tender/project responses
- Degree or equivalent
- Willingness to travel
