SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGER – PRINTED PACKAGING
Location: Worcestershire
£negotiable package including car & relocation assistance where required
Our client is a £multi-million, market leader in printed packaging, supported by an innovative product range and a commitment to service excellence and customer value. Their site in Worcestershire, which has a turnover in excess of £40m p.a., and has seen significant recent investment in technology and systems, supplies a highly demanding customer base. This newly created role will be responsible for creating and leading a ‘benchmark’ supply chain function, delivering value to customers (internally and externally) and suppliers through effective SCM.

Educated to a high standard, and ideally but not essentially with CIPS qualifications, you must be able to demonstrate your understanding of all aspects of the supply chain and the impact it has on customer care. Your experience will have been gained in a fast moving, high volume, manufacturing environment, ideally but not essentially in a flexible packaging or print environment, where you have delivered significant efficiency and cost improvements. Your communication and negotiation skills will be combined with experience of process and systems improvement, and a commitment to leading and developing your team. An excellent working knowledge of SAP is also required.
