Syndicate Finance Manager

My client is an international insurance investment and service business based in London. With their business expanding, they are now looking for a Syndicate Finance Manager.


Main purpose of job:


To manage the regulatory and reporting requirement in respect of certain Lloyd's entities in support of the Finance Director, as required.

Manage the process of filing all Lloyds Regulatory, within deadlines. To include Annual and Quarterly Returns , US and Canadian Reporting (including Schedules F & P), and US and Canadian SIS.

Plan and oversee the production of monthly/quarterly management accounting information and financial schedules, including forecasting, monitoring and variance analysis.


The successful candidate;

Professional qualification, ACA, ACCA or similar.

Significant proven understanding of recent Lloyd's syndicate reporting and general management accounting in a ‘Live' environment.

Familiarity and knowledge of Lloyd's reporting requirements, including involvement in the preparation of Core Lloyd's Market Returns.

Sound knowledge of IT systems in use within the WCM accounting function – especially Excel, Vision, Sun Accounts.

Knowledge of UK / US GAAP requirements.
