Tax Manager

Role description:
To identify, analyze and implement UK tax planning opportunities in order to minimize the tax burden and management of the UK effective tax rate ensuring compliance with local tax law.

To carry out compliance and tax audit work with regard to UK corporation tax
Key responsibilities:

•Gather information, analyse, prepare and file all UK corporation tax returns
•Management of quarterly tax instalments payments and UK cash taxes forecast
•Handle Inland Revenue tax authority inquiries and review the UK group's tax position for open years
•Provide support for inter company pricing tax audit enquiries throughout Europe
•Provide Corporate Tax with financial information from UK legal entities to ensure effective tax rate analysis
•Management of UK tax accounts under US GAAP reporting standards and the preparation of tax packages for inclusion in US reporting
•Prepare corporation tax notes for inclusion in UK statutory accounts under UK GAAP
•Management of UK R&D Tax credit claims
•Responsible for managing and maintaining SOX controls and evidence for UK tax function

Key requirements:

•Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA)
•Thorough knowledge of UK and US tax legislation and accounting standards
