Team Leader for the Front Office Application Suppo

City based Asset / Investment Manager seek a Team Leader for the Front Office Application Support Team you will have proven leadership and staff management skills and you will have a good Asset Management business skill, understand Front Office Systems skills, ideally we are looking for Charles River and Thinkfolio (or one of these two) however we will consider candidates with other Front Office Systems experience. We are looking for someone to drive things forward, challenge the status quo. Developing good customer / supplier relations is an important element of this role. Seek to improve the profile and reputation of the team and oneself by working positively and proactively, not only with the business, but also across IT. This is a business facing role dealing with all levels of business customer, a professional image in both appearance and communication is essential. Sharing of skills and experience with other team members to improve product knowledge.

You will have

• Relevant industry experience.
• Good knowledge of securities and asset types
• Strong Equity and good Fixed Income knowledge
• Proven Team Leader skills with minimum one year experience
• Organised and effective communicator, able to manage multiple tasks
• A good understanding of the Investment Management process.
• A recognised industry qualification, such as an IAQ or IMC, would be advantageous.
• Track record of working on own initiative and capturing ideas and needs, and translating these into practical solutions.
• Relationships are an important part of this role. Work collaboratively with Project Managers, IT technicians and partners in the business at all levels.
• Can demonstrate confidence when placed in new or unusual situations.
• Practical and open minded, able to use own judgement to balance process against delivery.
• Commitment to the delivery of a first class service.
