Team Leader Retail Operations
Canary Wharf - London
A multi-focused client facing unit pricing Team Leader role,
Ensuring total accuracy and ownership of all Fund Accounting data delivered to the clients.
Assisting with the delivery of Projects within the Team.
Unit Pricing
• Responsibility for the overall accuracy and timely delivery of the unit prices for the AXA Framlington Unit Trust range of Funds, by complying with FSA regulations at all times
• Ensure the on-going accuracy of the unit price/fund accounting records / reduce regulatory risks.
Client service
• Review of internal/external reporting requirements (including trade activity/material holdings/Fees/Notional Commissions/Yields/SDRT)
• Facing off to key clients on a day to day basis (acting as a point of reference).
• Review of Monthly Trustee Reconciliations and Responses.
Other Tasks
• Review of Periodic Regulatory Reviews including Indices Reviews, Indexation Process testing, Overdraft Reviews.
• Production of MI on a weekly/Monthly basis on all Tasks.
• Timely delivery of projects into the team as required
• Ensuring the Fund Administration team meet all regulatory and Client deliverables
• Managing/training and developing Team members.
• Providing cover for other Team Leaders within Retail Operations as required
KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE:
Essential
5+ years experience in Retail Funds accounting/Pricing environment, previously in a supervisory role
Client focused.
FSA Threshold competent
Ideal
Part Qualified Accountant/Qualified Accountant.
Knowledge of HiPortfolio
PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Candidate must be accurate/possess a good eye for details, be numerate a self-starter and have the ability to work to tight deadlines. Candidate must also be able to lead the team, take ownership of issues and work with other Supervisory staff to ensure all Reporting is timely and accurate.
