This innovative company provides products and technologies that are a critical part of the infrastructure for ISPs, telecommunication and mobile providers. The company is growing rapidly in both Europe and the US as their products address issues critical to the success of their customers businesses.
They wish to appoint a Technical Account Manager in their French operation who will be focussed on a new, very large strategic customer.
Responsibilities:
• Provide the primary point of contact between the client and the company.
• In conjunction with Sales, undertake detailed account planning ensuring both customer success and a mutually profitable relationship between the client and company.
• Be the main point person for all issues escalations.
• Co-ordinate client, company and external resources through implementation and operational phases.
• Identify new opportunities for sales within the account.
• Manage the implementation, planning and creation of detailed project plans.
• Work with the client’s senior leadership to communicate, demonstrate the value of the products and services and quantify the return on investment.
• Have an absolute focus on making the client referenceable.
Skills:
• Confident and communicative personality.
• Background in IT project management with a good appreciation of commercial and sales issues.
• Strong written, presentation and listening skills – must be fluent in French and English.
• Broad technical knowledge of IT infrastructure issues in telecommunications, mobile or ISP companies with a particular focus on performance, security or networking.
• Previous experience as a project manager, delivery focussed pre-sales executive or technical account manager.
You must be an EU National or already be resident in France with a current Work Permit.
Qualifying Questions:
1. Have you worked as a project manager, technical account manager or consultant within a services or product vendor company?
2. Have you worked with high value, enterprise scale software?
3. Do you have experience of supporting sales or contributing to account management?
4. Do you have experience of working with ISP’s, telecoms or mobile companies?
5. Do you have a high level technical appreciation of the technical infrastructure issues facing telecom, mobile or ISP companies?
