Salary: €60,000 - 80,000 + bonus + benefits
This international firm sells innovative technologies and services to telecommunications operators that enable new businesses, processes and revenue streams to be created for their customers.
They are a young and dynamic firm that has grown rapidly and now has a global presence and an impressive client list that includes many leading telecom providers.
Continuing growth in the business and technology offerings is creating opportunities to hire a Technical Account Manager to manage major telecommunications customer relationships within The Netherlands and possibly other regions as well. The role combines account management with operational and project management responsibilities.
The Technical Account Manager will be responsible for specific account relationships with major telecoms companies. The successful candidate must live in The Netherlands and speak Dutch as well as having good English language skills.
Responsibilities:
•Account Management
o Responsible for the day-to-day management of major telco operator partnerships.
o Responsibility for ensuring the performance of key business drivers of product usage and revenue growth
o Regular communication between the partner and headquarters ensuring partner needs and goals are represented within the company.
•Project Management
o Matrix management of resources for product design, deployment, operation and maintenance
o Coordinate personnel involved with controlling quality and delivering against forecasted budget, key milestones and customer satisfaction
•Business Development
o Work with existing partners to develop new products and revenue streams and maximize existing business opportunities.
o Selectively developing new partnerships and commercial relationships
o Understand the competitor landscape and ensure the company is well positioned from a product, service and commercial basis to maximize business opportunities.
o Ensure revenue targets are accurately predicted and achieved.
Experience
•5+ years of equivalent professional experience including project delivery and commercial or sales responsibilities in the telecommunications sector
•Broad understanding of technology within major telecommunications firms
•Commercial and sales appreciation
•Degree level education in Computer Science, Engineering or other scientific or numerate subject.
•Willing to travel
•Credible at both senior management and board operating levels
•Effective leader/participant in formal presentations to management
•Self-motivated, flexible, accustomed to working in a dynamic environment
•Excellent verbal and writing skills
•Fluent Dutch and good English language skills.
You must be an EU National or already resident in the EU with a current Work Permit. You must also have fluent Dutch language skills and excellent English verbal and written communication skills.
