Technical Author / Writer required to develop & Maintain Detailed Architectural, Engineering & Security Policy documentation. Produce high-quality documentation, following style manuals and industry best practices for technical writing. Coordinate with security architects & engineers to own technical accuracy of documentation. Work within our team as well as with stakeholders to ensure content is written appropriately for the target audience and meets editorial standards·Prepare organized and timely hand-offs to editors and to production in preparation for release·Global perspective, understanding English as the official language but sensitive to readers from culturally diverse backgrounds.Technical Knowledge: Understanding of security technologies including secure global network design, remote computing, desktop and server hardening, Compliance Auditing, Secure Software Development Lifecycles, Software Auditing, and Penetration Testing, Security Monitoring. Knowledge of information security frameworks and standards such as ISO17799/27001. Excellent writing skills. Ability to work independently without day-to-day supervision. Proactive problem-solving skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Strong analysis and data capturing skills. Experience using Microsoft Word, Adobe Acrobat, Visio and Help tools·Experience with data flow diagrams.Business Knowledge·Good awareness and understanding of the Barclay's business unit responsibilities and structure.·Ability to edit existing information security technical build guides, security policy documents and standards.·Strong understanding of vendor and contract management. Understanding of BITS FISAP (Financial Institution Shared Assessments Program) highly desirable.Service Support
