Technical Infrastructure Architect

My Client, an exciting, high profile organisation, are looking to recruit an Infrastructure Technical Architect to join their existing team.

This role offers the opportunity to join a cutting edge organisation, with a very competitive salary and benefits package.
You will be responsible for :

- The complete Project Lifecycle, from Project Scope and Definition, through to Risk Assessment, Implementation and Delivery.
- Providing day to day support and consultancy to the business, and assisting with building a solid network and systems Infrastructure, assessing reliability and performance across the entire Infrastructure landscape.
- Keeping the IT Infrastructure within the business current and efficient
- Managing external suppliers and utilising negotiation skills
- Specifying Technical Solutions from zero to completed install.

You will have:

- A thorough working knowledge of Checkpoint Firewalls
- An in depth Technical Infrastructure background, with the ability to specify Technical Solutions from Zero to Completed Install
- Experience in defining, planning, managing and delivering specific projects.
- An extensive knowledge in Active Directory / Windows 2003 Systems.
- Ideally an MCSE/CCNA certification or equivalent
- Extensive knowledge in Exchange 2003 Administration and Implementation
- Knowledge of SAN and NAS technologies will prove advantageous
