Technical Manager
Manchester - North West
A internationally respected business with a growing presence within the waste market is looking to recruit a Technical Manager to support the bid and tender process for municipal waste contracts. Working within a successful and expanding team you will provide technical expertise in the creation and development of solutions for customers.
An exciting opportunity to work within this new business area for a market leading energy and utilities company. You will lead technical input for proposal and bid opportunities within the municipal waste market. Working within a multi-disciplinary project team you will forge strong working relationships both internally and externally, to achieve new business wins.
Experience
·Relevant waste experience within the a waste management company, consultancy, local authority or contractor.
·Contractual and Commercial awareness
·Degree qualified (or similar) and holding an engineering or CIWM qualification.
·Understanding of technical support needs
·Experience in integrated waste management, PFI or waste infrastructure, design and implementation of non-landfill waste management systems (recycling, composting etc) or waste collection methods.
·Excellent communication, presentation and inter-personal skills.
