Technical Product Manager
My client are looking for a Technical Product manager who will be responsible for assisting in managing the product development lifecycle, developing detailed technical requirements and completing functional specifications for future products. You will work closely with the technical team to ensure product is developed, tested and deployed to specification. You will also support roadmap planning and proving technical leadership to ensure that the product remains ahead of the market, valuable to its users and commercially successful.
The company themselves occupy a space where mobile technologies, the cloud and infrastructure services converge to build elegant and safety critical solutions.
You will have:-
- Experience in a similar role essential in a product development environment.
- Experience as technical product manager working with successfully deployed, safety critical systems
- Proven experience as technical product manager working with systems (software, Enterprise and SAAS, hardware, database and analytical tools for data representation)
- Understanding of complex, multi-tasking real time embedded software
- Experience working in small, highly focused teams
- Experience with complex software solutions across multiple generations of products
- Experience of using tools to analyse large datasets
- Prior experience of designing and managing complex process and/or product issues of a broad scope using independent judgement
- Detailed Systems architecture (software)
- Proven experience of risk analysis and risk management
- Proven experience of writing function specifications
- Demonstrable problem solving ability
