Our client, a globally renowned leader within the Broadcast & Digital Media industry have a number of requirements for highly technical Project Managers ideally from a Broadcast Hardware or Engineering Background. These new positions have come about to support the expansion the company is enjoying as a result of major business wins. You will be responsible for the achievement of customer satisfaction through the successful project management of complex customer orders from point of contract sign off to customer acceptance of installed systems. Although head office is in Hampshire you will be expected to be able to fulfil worldwide travelling requirements as and when required. Projects can last anywhere between 2 weeks to 6 months therefore individuals must have a proven record of being able to 'hit the ground running' and being effective from day one. It would be useful to have experience of working to process methodologies. You must be well educated to a minimum of first degree level in Electronic/Electrical Engineering, Communications Engineering or a related discipline; have involvement in, or awareness / interest of, the fields of broadcasting or related digital communication/high technologies; a proven track record in the delivery of broadcasting or related communication/high technology projects; Self reliance, enthusiasm, problem solving, team leading attributes; Software engineering experience in respect of Windows, Oracle and LAN technology; Prepared to undertake World-wide travel, with the possibility of having to spend extended periods away for installation and commissioning purposes. A Valid passport.
