Technology & Planning Manager

The client is a multi-site, market leading FMCG organisation.

Role:

The specific role of the Technology & Planning Manager (packaging and moulds) covers the following five main responsibilities:

- Innovation planning
- Supply Chain technology support
- Packaging Technology Support
- Mould Management for Injection moulds development
- Planning for Packaging projects.

Requirements:

The successful applicant will:

- Be educated to degree level in Packaging or in Engineering
- Should have proven experience of Packaging /Injection moulding
- Have a good understanding of supply chain planning, including operational planning, forecasting, capacity planning and sourcing analysis
- Good understanding of world class manufacturing performance principles.
- Familiarity or good understanding of process and packaging technology principles, m/c design basics, packaging & packing m/cs interface and knowledge of leading packing equipment supplier would be an advantage.
- Previous experience of novel processes or equipment development would be an essential requirement.
- Have good IT skills, particularly with spreadsheets and Microsoft Office Project
- Demonstrate good communication skills and an ability to engage with business partners and colleagues and also senior Management
