Trading Controller - Retail Channel

This global market leading consumer electronics business is looking for a commercial Trading Controller to lead, motivate and develop a team of 2 National Account Managers and a Key Account Manager across the largest and most strategic account in the retail channel.
As Trading Controller you will have complete ‘profit and loss’ responsibility and will be tasked with devising and implementing the channel strategy across the UK and Ireland also across Europe. In order to achieve your channel objectives you will need to take ownership of the commercial process and will work in partnership with category, trade marketing, brand marketing, demand planning and also the key finance teams.
The ideal candidate will currently be working at controller level in a branded consumer or FMCG business and will have a solid commercial sales background. Additionally, as TC you will need to have strong influencing and negotiation skills and will need to influence upwards through the organisation. This role offers excellent career progression opportunities.
