Trading Director
Northern Ireland - N. Ireland
Leading food retailer is looking for a highly commercial senior trading individual to oversee and be directly responsible for their trading department and to continue the growth of their brands across the Northern Ireland retail sector.
Reporting directly to the Managing Director you will be required to;
- Manage and develop an extensive trading team for ambient, fresh and frozen
- Develop and implement the trading strategy looking at product range management, category management, pricing and margins
- Develop annual trading plans, financial targets & approve category plans
- Provide support and, where necessary, lead in key supplier and high profile negotiations.
The successful candidate must have substantial trading/buying experience at a senior level from another retail or wholesale food environment.
You must also possess strong people management skills within a large team and be able to demonstrate experience of change management. You will have a track record in developing and delivering strategic initiatives.
