Our client is an internationally renowned bank and trust organisation whose Singapore office is recognised as a centre of excellence for the trust group. Increased new business necessitates the recruitment of a trust administrator to join an experienced and very busy team.
At least two years’ experience in private trust administration/tax advisory services or within the financial services industry is required.
Main Activities:
·Assisting in the day-to-day administration of trusts and company structures of different levels of complexity
·Assisting in new business acceptance and review process
·Postgraduate qualification with discipline including accounting, law, business administration or similar
·Ideally diploma in International Trust Management granted by the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP)
Duties & Responsibilities:
·Process documents for trust restructuring, revocation and deed of amendments etc.
·Process payments and distribution of trust assets
·Process documents for trust termination, change of trustee, change of beneficiaries
·Process documents for financial transactions conducted by the trust
·Process bank account opening and other related documents
·Monitor and chase outstanding documents/information
·Update database and imaging system
·Deal with telephone/email enquiries
·Maintain effective communication with other departments
·Comply with the policies, procedures, laws, rules and regulations applicable to the trustee
·Assist in the process of review and acceptance of new business
·Take follow-up action arising from investment reviews
