This NASDAQ listed client is the premier developer of adaptive data protection solutions that optimise data centre efficiency and business continuity for all IT infrastructures. The company's innovative storage virtualisation, continuous data protection (CDP), disaster recovery, and virtual tape library (VTL) software solutions integrate seamlessly to ensure rapid data recovery and simplified storage management. Last year they experienced a 40% increase in sales which looks set to continue particularly as VTL technology is adopted within the wider IT community. To aid their continual growth they now require a Sales Executive to develop business within the SME and Corporate Markets. The role would be ideally suited to someone who likes the challenge of building new business working autonomously, but as a key part of a small and dynamic team. Reporting to the Northern Regional Director, the successful candidate will be tasked with maximising end user sales and business opportunities in the UK region whilst building on and maintaining existing channel relationships - leading a sell direct, supply indirect channel model. The role requires previous experience of selling storage solutions along with demonstrable success in strong account penetration and development ability, proven within the storage industry. You will be hungry and motivated by success (looking for the accelerators that kick in after target achievement) and with well-developed interpersonal skills, have the ability to work in a dynamic environment. It is likely that you are currently working for a manufacturerr, major reseller or systems integrator and looking for a long term career move to an innovative and exciting vendor.
