UK Service Manager

The client is a global manufacturer of capital equipment supplying to the Oil and Gas, Power Generation and Energy markets and they now require a Head of Service based in the North West. This is a permanent position working for the UK Services Department, reporting to the Managing Director and the Director for International Service.

You will be accountable for managing the UK Service Team consisting of approximately 40 people, and the UK Service Budget, including full P/L responsibility. You will be tasked with setting up and managing a 5 year maintenance programme and setting up contracts with external suppliers. The role will be primarily office based, but travelling will be required throughout the UK and Ireland as well as occasional visits to central Europe.

Ideally you will be of graduate calibre in Electrical Engineering or similar and have experience of managing a Service Department. You will have an understanding of the maintenance of high value assets and encompass strong communication and presentation skills. Applicants must have a full UK driving license.
