As a UK based Systems Company, our client delivers surveillance systems for demanding environments, specialising in software and electronic engineering services. These services are provided to the Government, defence, Aerospace and Public sector.

They now require an Underwater Business Manager to lead a growing division supporting customer facing activities, bids/proposals, and generally ensuring timely delivery of profitable projects and products.

Responsibilities of Underwater Business Manager
+Support the divisional selling process
+Build relationships with existing and prospective customers
+Present the companies capabilities, systems and products to the marketplace
+Scope customers expectations and requirements
+Support the selling process – recommend bid/no-bid decisions
+Develop and keep up to date Bid Capture Plans
+Manage bids/bid managers to prepare winning bids
+Ensure bids are prepared within budgets and timescales allotted
+Prepare Pertmaster three-point estimated costs and risk management plans
+Consider internal risk mitigation activities to achieve contingency reductions
+Follow-up bids/proposals and resolve outstanding issues
+Identify products derivable from enquiries/bids/contracts/project work
+Product sales supported by relevant and accurate marketing material
