This market leading broadcaster has always been on people's lips and this decade is no different, they're going from strength to strength. They're currently looking for a Vice President of Corporate Communications to report into the European Vice President, in a heavy weight communications role which will oversee, direct and execute multiple areas of communication across internal, trade, consumer and crisis, for both the UK and Ireland and International Communications teams.
Managing the UK and Ireland Corporate Communications team, you will devise and implement strategies to leverage the whole portfolio to build the profile of the business among key industry audiences. You will create and execute consumer publicity synergies across the entire portfolio, manage crisis communications, drive the creative and brand leadership position in UK and relevant international media including content, creative, marketing, trade and music outlets across all brands and oversee all Senior Management media training across all brands. You will also prepare comprehensive interview briefings and write speeches and presentations as required for the CEO, and advise the senior team on all communications matters, ensuring that the team is briefed on forthcoming issues and kept up to date on breaking stories. You will also be responsible for all aspects of press activities for UK.
As such, the successful candidate will be expected to have an understanding (or experience in) the broadcasting industry. You will also have extensive PR experience across all aspects of public relations on a UK and international level, extensive knowledge of the UK and international media landscape with strong journalist contacts and awareness of key industry issues, alongside experience working across multiple time zones. You will have a proven track record of interaction with senior executives globally and experience managing staff in a way that enhances the performance of others. Travel / work occasional weekends or evenings will be required and knowledge of another EU language will be a plus.
