Deployment Lead Windows 7
City of London - London
Deployment / Implementation Lead (Windows 7) required on an initial 6 month contract with likely extension.
Prior Windows 7 deployment experience within the Financial Sector highly desired.
Position Overview:
- The Deployment Lead is responsible for the end-to-end delivery of Windows 7 to defined scope(s) of computers/users.
- You will be accountable for all elements of the delivery to the customer from the initial engagement with senior management through to and including transition.
- The role is ultimately responsible for ensuring the effective migration to Windows 7, ensuring that the aggressive rollout targets are met and a positive customer experience is provided throughout the process. This will be achieved through strong leadership, a strong drive to deliver against challenging timescales allied with a passion for good customer service.
Principal Requirements:
- Prior experience leading the deployment of Windows 7.
- Financial sector experience.
- Strong leadership skills and the capability to matrix manage.
* Strong relationship management skills.
* Able to manage customers and stakeholders at all levels
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Negotiation and conflict management skills.
Analytical
* Strong problem solving,
* Good with analysis; Previous BA would help
* Good with Excel
Background
* Previous desktop rollout
* Financial background
