Fast emerging, award-winning telecommunication and payment service provider enabling high speed communications to African consumers, mobile operators and financial institutions are searching for a PR / Public Relations Manager / Internal Communications Manager at a time of online transformation and rapid expansion. In this newly-created position, you will develop and shape the company`s PR campaigns across its wide-ranging services and product portfolio, working closely with internal marketing departments, cross-functional teams in country (6 African nations), ensuring a strong and coherent news flow across the entire business. In addition, you will have the opportunity to develop and grow the PR function, practises and proceedures and deliver effective and innovative internal communications bringing together the UK head office and operating companies within Africa.


This is rare opportunity at the heart of a growing Central Marketing function team and offer full exposure to some of the world`s most exciting developing markets. Based in London the role offers international travel to operating countries within Africa. The role would suit a highly proactive and enthusiastic and creative self-starter who craves early responsibility and autonomy and who can operate in a fluid and dynamic international matrix environment.


You will have experience in :

2-6 years In-house or agency-related Technology or Telecommunications- related PR (B2B experience attractive )
Developed writing and editorial skills including experience of defining and delivering campaigns
Strong PR focussed project management skills (exhibition, event PR, launches, sponsorship, online internal communications).
Experience working with international operating companies in a matrix environment desirable.
