Senior Java Engineer - Bristol - Java - Linux - SQL
My client is a leading e-comast organisation based in Bristol. They have seen large growh over the last three years and are now looking to add to their team of strong Java developers.
Responsibilities
* Be involved in the enitre SDLC from requirments gathering through to implementation.
* Communicate effectively with the BAs regarding infrastucture.
* Be a key member of the core platform development team working on framwors and libraries.
* Quality control and analysis of code at all levels of the stack.
* Work as a senior member of a small Agile team.
Experience needed
* Strong core Java experience (garbage collection and concurrency)
* Excellent understanding of OO principles.
* Familiarity with Linux
* Experience with MS-SQL or similar.
* Knowledge of web libraries and frameworks.
