Senior Account Manager - UK Telecoms Account

Our client, a global leading telecoms giant in consulting and infrastructure, is looking for a senior senior account manager with strong telecoms experience, to lead a rapidly growing account as part of a UK-wide managed services project, based from the Berkshire area.
The role will be coordinating the entire account from creating, executing and delivering the account sales plans, maintaining service level relationships, marketing and collateral generation and identifying new opportunities for growth.

As a Senior Account Manager, you will be responsible for;
Proactively work to establish and increase a strong client relationship base with the end customer
Delivery the company targets
Ongoing sales development for new clients and projects within the account
Ensuring a high level of service delivery on sales projects
Working with customers during presales process and supporting winning bid management
Provide a senior point of contact for client issues
Hold accountability for profit/loss
Recruit and expand on existing teams
Act as the technical authority for Oracle database/middleware/cloud products and services

Successful Senior Account Managers must have;
Prior experience a consulting sales, or technical account manager based role
Proven sales track record of opening up new business and revenue lines within a target account
Proven ability to build a portfolio of customers and retain projects within a targeted account
Excellent knowledge of the UK telecoms market
Strong network of contacts to help provide project support and technical expertise where required
Previous experience working in a multi-departmental role and utilizing resources
Ability to give consulting to customers and provide value-added solutions and services
Ability to present value-added solutions to customers on a commercial level
Experience in contracts management and negotiation
Very strong communication, presentation and team building skills
Speak fluent English to business level
