Our client is a well-respected organisation in the professional bodies space. They are seeking a dynamic, results-driven brand strategist with the creative flair and leadership to drive its brand development. This newly created role will be responsible for all brand development activity. This includes key influencer engagement, thought leadership, social and PR campaign development; and implementation and measurement to ensure that brand activity is aligned and driving positive engagement for the organisation. This senior position will be responsible for growing awareness of the brand and its unique features and benefits. This role with have a team of 4 reporting into it.

Key responsibilities

Develop compelling brand propositions
Build and maintain excellent relationships with key influencers and stakeholders
Lead on the execution of all brand events, launches and ambassadorial activity
Oversee the implementation of comprehensive Integrated Communications campaigns that encompass media and influencer relations, marketing, digital communications and social media strategy
Development and execution of the content calendar to focus on brand engagement and influence positive branded social discussions
Drive anticipation and excitement for thought leadership launches and brand activity across all communication platforms owned, paid and earned
Leverage new channels to impact customer journey and influence purchase decisions

Experience and skills

Brand strategy experience , particularly from the professional associations or similar sectors
Solid brand proposition and implementation experience
Excellent leadership and communication skills
Managing and developing a high performing team
Brilliant marketing judgement
Strong creative flair
The ability to influence and gain buy-in effectively at all levels
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently ensuring that regular updates are provided to key stakeholders
Ability to challenge the status quo and drive change
Excellent influencer and agent relationships
