Procurement Manager / Category Manager
London - Home Based
I am working exclusively with a Public/Private Sector client who is looking for a Procurement Business Partner/Category Manager to work in conjunction with the business as an expert adviser and champion for procurement. You will lead, advise and manage Procurement within a regulated environment and have a customer centric approach. The main objective will be to influence and embed category planning and supplier/contract management to ensure the business achieves its overall vision, with value for money and service levels at the forefront.
* In depth knowledge of Procurement in both Public & Private Sector
* Cross category management experience - Indirect spend
* Ability to act as an advisor on commercial and procurement activity/business needs
* Proven track record of working in a regulated environment /OJEU and Public Sector procurement regulations
* Experience of leading strategic sourcing projects across categories
* Delivery focussed and ability to work under pressure
* Passionate and supporting change in a corporate environment
* Full working knowledge of eProcurement systems
* Effective stakeholder engagement
* MCIPS qualified
