Technical Business Analyst - Digital Solutions - Hammersmith, London (Zone 2)

A leading provider of Digital Solutions to the Public Sector requires a Technical Business Analyst to join a small development team delivering the latest application monitoring and alerting technology to a large programme delivering to Government clients. This is chance to join a talented team in a BA role that is largely Hammersmith based with just occasional travel to customer site (also London based). This role would suit a BA who has worked at a Senior BA level or in an independent BA role in a development team. The role would suit a Developer that has moved into a Technical BA role and able to understand all implications of delivering software tools into large and secure corporate technical infrastructures.

Duties:

Work closely with the Customers Technical Authority
Gather, analyse and manage requirements to make accurate commercial decisions
Translate requirements into detailed specifications
Act as primary point of contact to the Client
Lead the impact assessment
Lead the production of user guides

Key Skills:

5 years BA experience including working either independently as a BA or as a Senior BA on a software delivery project : experience to include Infrastructure/Technical BA skills, (Networking projects, Linux, Windows platforms, My SQL, SQL Server etc.)
Knowledgeable of Application monitoring solutions (ie Nagios, Zabbix, Sensu, ELK Stack, New Relic etc.)
Strong documentation / User Guide writing skills
Experience of working with multiple stakeholders
Familiar with Agile, SCRUM and Kanban
Experience of producing commercial change request responses.
Excellent communication skills
Client facing skills and experience
Meet criteria for Security Clearance
Preferable : software development background
Preferable : JIRA and Confluence
