Our client, one of the world's leading global logistics companies are seeking a team lead data scientist to head up a group of data experts working in their office in Essen.
The client believes the ideal candidate will have the following attributes:
* 3 to 4 years experience within data science environments with PhD in statistical field - 8 years experience in data science without PhD
* Experience in full cycle data science phases
* Skilled and experienced in using Python
* Experience with machine learning algorithms
* Accomplished computer scientist with a passion for data-driven products
* Experience with deep learning and natural language processing is a plus
The Job will involve the following:
* Heading up a team of 8 PhD data scientists, growing to 30 in 18 months
* Overseeing data science in all of it's life cycle
* Working within the area of machine learning, Deep learning & NLP
* Spearheading their strategy for growth within the data science environment
