The company, part of a well established market leading European food group, supplies high quality ingredients to the UK food and bakery sector. Well known in the UK, the company is one of the top suppliers in the sector working with artisan and industrial bakeries, food and ingredient manufacturers. As part of its growth strategy the company is seeking to recruit a Technical Sales Manager to help spearhead new business development.

Working as part of the sales, technical and commercial team the role will be to take responsibility for the technical sale of quality bakery ingredients to new and existing customers throughout the north of England and Scotland. The company sells on a technical solution basis to niche and artisan bakeries, wholesalers, retailers and food ingredient manufacturers.

Working from home and preferably based in the north of the UK the role will involve both technical and commercial negotiations with customers; consequently the successful candidate will need formal qualifications in baking together with commercial experience and the potential to develop within this well established company.

Suitable candidates should be highly self-motivated, have good communication and negotiation skills, be practically oriented and have the ability to organise and plan their time from a home base. The role will involve travel throughout the UK as well as visits to the European headquarters. Currently you may be in technical sales, technical support or a technical bakery role. Prospects are excellent within this growing organisation.
