A high calibre individual is needed for this specialist Internal Audit Division with outstanding knowledge of Regulatory Risk environments. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must either have a demonstrable record of working in a regulatory centric environment such as a compliance function. Group Internal Audit is a high performing function, which acts as a trusted advisor to executive management. Working as a Business Risk Manager in the department gives you a great opportunity to lead teams, perform complex work, broaden your knowledge of the Group, manage expectations of stakeholders and further develop your managerial and training skills.

You will be expected to have:
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in operational risk management, internal control, or internal audit preferably within a banking operations and / or IT function.
• Knowledge of internal control standards and best practices in operational risk management.
• Proven project / process management experience with a solid delivery track record driving change.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to a wide range of individuals and groups and at different levels of seniority.
• Self starter who has led teams in a variety of cultures.

Good understanding and or experience in the following:
• Investment banking products and processes
• Information Security
• Access Management
• Software Development Lifecycle
• IT Change/ Release Configuration management
• Project Management
• IT Quality
• Problem/Incident Management
• Experience gained as External/Internal IT auditor, IT SOX Tester, IT Operational Risk, Information Security or IT Management Consulting, IT Project Management
• IT Audit, accounting or other control-related qualifications (e.g. ACA, ACMA, CISA, CIA, CISSP) would be a distinct advantage.

Salary: Circa £95000 +exceptional flexible benefits+ bonus
