Reed Finance continue to partner a leading UK charity organisation providing life opportunities and improved quality of life support.
A senior and integral finance position is available for a finance professional, Director of Audit & Inspection. The Director will independently assess the charity's performance to ensure that all aspects of the operation are being carried out in accordance with both statutory and Council's requirements.
There are four distinct overarching features shaping the structure and scope of the post's objectives:-
* To maintain a strategic and operational understanding of the full range of UK activity and independently assessing its performance;
* To receive commissions and assignments from Council, Audit Committee, Chief Executive and UK Directors on a variety of subject matter relating to the performance of the Charity;
* To act as the organisation's Watchdog;
* To operate on a corporate wide basis and maintain a pan-organisational overview.
The successful individual will provide specialist support and independent/impartial advice to the organisation Council, Audit Committee, Chief Executive and UK Directors on a range of diverse matters. You will ensure they continue commitment to public accountability and verify the safeguarding of the Organisation's funds and assets, whilst monitoring the efficient execution and development of the Charity by conducting comprehensive and independent appraisals of its resources.
