New Business Sales Executive
Birmingham - Midlands (West)
Our client, an established Business Intelligence and Analytics Bureau with an impressive client portfolio and a network of international partners, are looking to recruit a New Business Sales Executive to work initially from home and then from a newly opening branch in Birmingham later this year.
The role is primarily internally based, which will require the Sales Executive to make occasional external client visits. In order to secure the sale of products and solutions, they will ensure the development of relationships with senior decision makers in a variety of industries including; Public Sector, Telco, Utilities and Financial Services. The New Business Sales Executive will be responsible for identifying new opportunities via self-generated leads and working to consistently exceed sales targets. Additional responsibilities include:
• Facilitating web-based demonstrations of the products (E.g. Tableau)
• Identifying potential opportunities for larger consultative projects within the client base.
• Translation of complex requirements into simple solutions
The ideal candidate will have a solid and successful sales track record, carrying average deal sizes of around £10k - £20k. They will have previously worked on solution sales within the software/technology industry and be competent in discussing business challenges with Senior Executives, CEO’s & Heads of Departments. Ability to perform web-based demonstrations of the products is essential, and any knowledge of BI products would be a distinct advantage. The New Business Sales Executive needs to be a driven and motivated individual who is able to work strategically and influence key decision makers.
