Country HR Manager - Germany - Human Resource Management

Are you a talented, multilingual HR manager, looking for a new international challenge? I'm urgently looking for a Country HR manager for one of my IT clients in Germany, Hamburg (with travel on business need).



Skills required:

* Degree in Management / HR, with a minimum of 5-8 years of post-qualification experience in Business / Operations HR.
* Should possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Fluency in English & German verbally as well as written and understand working in German culture.
* Excellent Understanding of 613a of the German Civil Code and experience in large scale people transfer in Germany is a must.
* Well versed with German labor laws.
* Ability to work with diverse and cross functional teams effectively.
* Experience in managing Works council and Union relationships.
* Ability to work at a detailed level to solve complex problem and associate queries.
* Ability to monitor and manage vendor relationships to ensure responsiveness and quality.



Role & Responsibilities:

* Provide a broad range of HR services in support of key business transformation objectives to include staff transfer under 613a of the German Civil Code, compensation planning, collective agreement salary increase obligations, effective Works Council cooperation, workforce planning, talent management & succession planning, employee engagement and organizational change.
* Accountable for regional HR and legal compliance, on-boarding/induction and rewards management policy for all the levels/grades.
* Support in Business Acquisition activities like RFP response/defense and staff transfer under TUPE/ARD regulations.
* Implement positive employee relations action planning and employee engagement, facilitate meetings, ensure a strong employee communication, coach leaders on HR Issues, and conduct conflict resolution management.
* Manage the delivery of training, compliance, and claim response in coordination with Legal for Code of Conduct, discrimination, harassment and other legal policy issues
* Managing cordial relationship with external vendors & coordinate for renewal of contracts etc.
* Advice associates on work matters, career development, personal issues, etc.
