Senior Business Development Manager - Rail and Aerospace
Basic £55k plus bonus giving an OTE £65k, BMW/Audi, 25 days holiday.

• A world leading engineering company with a reputation for innovative and high quality products developed for the Automotive, Rail and Aerospace industries.
• Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Director this key position provides an exciting opportunity to drive customer satisfaction in support of a market leading organisation.

The Role

• Identify and develop market sector opportunities for product applications.
• Create and service sales enquiries in a new business development situation.
• Identifying opportunities, winning and signing new business deals and developing new business relationships.
• Communicating the company’s market proposition; accurately interpreting client needs; proposing suitable solutions and closing deals.
• Preparation of high quality presentations and proposals for submission to clients in support of new business pitches and bid opportunities.

The Candidate

• Demonstrated success at identifying and qualifying opportunities, setting appointments, pipeline building, negotiation, and closing sales to grow new business.
• Commercially aware, with at least 5 year’s sales experience within the Aerospace or Rail markets.
• Ability to build trusted working relationships at various levels within a client's organisation.
• Bright, enthusiastic and entrepreneurial, with a positive can-do attitude and a real desire to succeed.
• Able to demonstrate persuasive and influential negotiation techniques in a customer-facing environment and bid management.
• Pragmatic team player capable of taking ownership and making things happen. Self confident and able to demonstrate excellent face-to-face communication skills.
• A result orientated and target driven personality who has the credibility to relate to customers on a technical level.
• A strong communicator at all levels able to understand the bigger picture and work with various departments within the company to make things happen.
