Supply Chain Director

A fantastic opportunity has arisen to join a leading international retailer in food.

We are currently looking for a Logistics Director to come on board and spearhead the developments within the businesses international distribution channels.

The successful candidate will hold a senior position within supply chain from a recognised retailer with multi site experience and:



Have an understanding of the Supply Chain and Logistics requirements for a retailer operating in several EU countries.Optimization and improvement of the logistics processes from the Vendor to the Shop floor.

Regularly review and validate the EU Logistics Strategy.Constant search for improved efficiency and cost reduction.

Management of internal and external Logistics service providers. Liaise with other internal departments with the aim to ensure a cost efficient and smooth logistics operation within the EU countries.

Liaise with Vendors and Buying & Merchandising with the aim to optimize the delivery flows.Define and lead Logistics Improvement projects.

Manage opening, changes or closing of logistics support points.
