Corporate Finance Manager

McGinnis Loy Associates are proud to be working with a Top10 Accountancy Firm who are seeking to strengthen their Corporate Finance team and recruit for a CF Manager. The firm has an enviable reputation across the UK providing services including M&A, Corporate Advisory, MBO/MBIs, Re-structurings and Transactional Services to a range of FTSE-listed corporate clients and private PLCs. Reporting to one of the Corporate Finance Directors and working within a large team, you will be responsible for:

• Providing financial and commercial due diligence on transactions and drafting reports (inc preparation of memorandums and business plans etc)
• Spreadsheet and financial modeling activities
• Following up leads of potential acquisition targets or buyers and related M&A analysis
• Liaising with clients, funders and intermediaries during the execution of transactions
• Preparing business plans and analysis for potential purchasers
• Assisting with management buy-in and buy-out assignments
• Handling a number of private equity transactions
• Managing a team of Corporate Finance Executives across the Region and reviewing their work
• Actively assisting in the promotion of the firms UK networking activities

To be considered for the role you should ideally be a fully qualified ACA or ACCA Accountant from another large Accountancy Firm, CF Boutique or from a Private Equity/Investment Banking group within their Corporate Finance function. You should be a high performer in the CF field with management of your own deals in a lead advisory role, have strong negotiation/analytical and business reporting skills.
